Through the combined actions of my customers and my downline, I was fortunate enough to earn Stampin' Up!'s Hilton Head Getaway this year. And guess where I am arriving today! Yep...gorgeous Hilton Head Island.
Of course, there is more to going than just getting packed. There were the Twins to think about, and Lexi, too. Plus, I needed to make arrangements for someone to watch the house.
For the house, Brady came to the rescue. In fact, as you are reading this, I bet he is sitting in front of the TV eating some of the casseroles I made for him, and undoubtedly chowing down on the cookies I baked. As for the Twins, I opted to send them to a Doggie Spa! Well...I call it a Doggie Spa. I didn't want them to know that technically it is a boarding kennel. But, wow...what a kennel it is! It is like entering a house. They will get "Nature Walks" in the woods, massages, and daily grooming, as well as group playtime. They will be rooming together. Since they are used to sleeping with Mom and Dad, they are actually sleeping on an elevated doggie bed, complete with blankies from home. When I left them, they were mesmorized by the pot-bellied pig who lives there, and couldn't care less that I was leaving. Plus, this place has some of their favorite things...KIDS!!!
And as we all know, Lexi is at her handler/trainer's house. I don't feel sorry for her one bit. This is the huge lakefront home where she is staying. I can't even imagine living in a home that big! I bet I could have a stamping studio if I lived here. I wonder if the handler will let me come and stay???
When we were married all those years ago, my husband and I never got to go on a "real" honeymoon. This trip will be it! So I once again thank those of you who made it possible, including Stampin' Up! for their generosity. Until next time...
