The Stampin' Schach Design Tips: Clean and Sparkly
This finished card measures 5-1/4" x 5-1/4".- Sparkle plenty! Five Silver Glimmer Snowflakes, made with the retired Northern Frost Decorative Strip, dance across the face of this card. To make the detail of each flake stand out, they were adhered to a Baja Breeze strip!
- Beautiful banner! The Warm Winter Wishes sentiment from Winter Memories was stamped in Baja Breeze. Two sparkly snowflakes anchor the banner and draw the eye to it.
- Imagine the possibilities for this card! Switch out the sentiment to suit the situation. How about "Congratulations" for a winter wedding? Or how about "Happy Birthday" for a winter birthday?
As always, your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one. So please, won't you take a moment and let me know what you think of today's card. And of course, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away. Until next time...

Wow! look at all that bling! beautiful....like walking in a winter wonderland. Love it!
Love all the sparkle and shimmer, Ann! What a beautiful card. I, too, have hung onto the Northern Flurry strip and I probably always will. It adds so much to a winter card!
Just gorgeous!! When new dogs are in the house, a smaller tree on a table is a good way to get by without giving up completely : )
Just beautiful! Love all the sparkle! I have Northern Flurry too!
Ooh soo pretty Ms Ann , love all that shinny sparkle , I'm so ready for Christmas , love love, Christmas cards, and your are always so BEAUITIFUL ! Tfs ,
Hugs frenchie.
Gorgeous Ann! Love all the sparkle and how you placed the small strip of colored cardstock to really show off the individual snowflakes. This one will really brighten a dark corner of a room with the shimmer if you don't get a tree. I'll bet that sweet little angel face would have SO much fun with a tree during the holidays!
This is beautiful! I never had any luck using this die with the glimmer paper....it always STUCK! Do you have any tips for us on getting it to cut smoothly, oh wise one?
GORGEOUS!!! You could make a CUSTOM envie with your Simply Scored. :)
Those glimmery snowflakes are super fabulous! I'm with LeAnne on this one too. I never get that die to cut through the glimmer paper. What's the secret?
so pretty, love the bright color with all the bling.
Oh the glitz and glimmer and sparkle! Love it! The sketch is wonderful and I love how you used snowflakes with it!
Ann love your sparkling snowflakes and it looks fabulous from here too!
Simple and yet so beautiful. Would make a great class card too. (hint).
I don't give up ANY of my equipment retired or not... just crazy about my 'old' slit/slot/ticket corner punches and will never part with them.
hugs.
Wow! Such a beautiful Christmas card! I love the sparkling snowflakes! I love it all Ann!
Just looking at your beautiful card makes me imagine fresh, cold air of winter on my face. Love all the sparkle!
Love the bling Ann. Your card looks so wintery with the blue and silver elements. Beautiful.
All that bling makes for a perfect Christmas card. I love the Northern Flurry strip too. It has a permanent place in my stamping space.
Love your glitzy snowflakes! Pretty card!
Oooooooooh! So beautiful! Love the sparkles!
Love that silver shimmer! It's a very pretty card and like you said can be used for various occasions.
So very delicate and sweet ann. i really like the use of the blue. the alternative xmas color is beautiful. xox
So sparkly & festive! I haven't tried the snowflake sizzlet with the glitter paper (yet!). Thanks for the idea.
Gorgeous! Maybe this can be one card that you hand deliver with a plate of treats or something.
I think this is the first of your cards that I haven't seen any pearls but with this card you really don't need any.
Colleen.
Can always hang a small tree upside down from the ceiling. :}
Beautiful card, Ann! I love that sparkly border of snowflakes, and the color combo is fantastic!
Beautiful card, beautiful possibilities, too!!
Cool! Love the bling but you ARE missing the pearls. We need at least one pearl on a snowflake! Wouldn't the silver snowflakes look great against the new dark blue color? Geez, I forgot the name of it already. Anyway.....

Gorgeous. Just the card I need to see on this hot day (90) here in IL. Hard to believe we could be having those snowflakes in just a short couple of months. I sure hope we get a little fall first!.
Sooooooooo sparkly!!! Love those snowflakes!! Just gorgeous.
Hugs from Germany!
Wow - this is stunning Ann! Can't wait to get this DSP because it's just gorgeous!
This snowflake card is breathtaking. I love all the shimmering flakes.
Oooh, this is very pretty, Ann! Love the soft color and all of that fabulous sparkle. Those snowflakes make such a statement....ahhh, I'm so ready for the holidays! Fa-la-la-la-la....:)
Wow - this is a stunner! Thanks for blessing my day.
Woof, woof - hey wait a minute before you go away! We haven't been here for a long time and I miss (sigh) Brody (sigh) and my girlfriends. Hi everybody - did you miss me? Lexi - look at all those good thingies on this card - I think they just might taste really good!
Oh Miss Daisy!!!!!!!
gorgeous shine!
hugs, m
I love the bling! This is such a beautiful card. I love the colors, too. Such a "cool" card! :)
For those of you having trouble using the die with the glimmer paper, try using a shim (layer of card stock)between the back of the die and your cutting pad. Add layers of cs until you get the desired result.
Woooowww.....love how those silver snowflakes dance across the card, Ann! So pretty! And yes, I'm sure it's quite bulky - better to use as a decor piece. At least you get to see it lots more, as it's gorgeous!
WOWSA! This is absolutely stunning! I love snowflakes for the holidays, and you managed to use them AND one of my favourite shades of blue. Fabulous card for the sketch - love love love it.
Cheers, Karen
