Here is my original card which appeared on September 23, 2010:
And here is my new one:
The Stampin' Schach Design Tips: Clean, Classy and Quick
The finished card measures 4-1/4" wide x 5-1/2" long.Need a card in a hurry? This is the card for you!
- Texture! Want a quick and easy way to add pizzazz to a clean and simple card? A Textured Impressions Embossing Folder does the trick. My folder of choice for this card is Stampin' Up!'s new Argyle one.
- Face the Facets! Stampin' Up!'s new Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons add classy sparkle! The centers of the largest size are just pearl-fect for adding a Large Pearl Basic Jewel. Coloring to coordinate is a breeze with a permanent marker.
- Pretty Papillion! A Raspberry Ripple Butterfly from Papillion Potpourri graces the center square. Of course, I just had to add pearls for its body.
- Bow down to the Bow! A Whisper White Organza bow gets a punch of color from a snippet of new In-Color Stitched Satin Ribbon!

Breathtaking! Everything goes together so well. I've had this funny thing about me all my life - I don't like red cars - unless they have white convertible tops. Something about this card brings back that crisp, clean, exciting contrast - that red car with the white top : )
Both cards are wonderful. The whimsy of the snowman card is delightful...and the butterfly card is elegant. How'd you do that fun two tone bow? Classy!

And, yes the Argyle EF is just perfect for adding that elegant background. And that bow is just awesome, love how you combined the two ribbons!

Ann, I really like both of those cards. Love the layout used on both. That is one I can definitely see myself using.
Lexi Lou sounds like she must be a little stinker.
I've said it before but it bears repeating...you do CAS as fabulously as vintage shabby! Gorgeous card, Ann. So crisp and elegant with a touch of glam in the buttons. Delighted that we played that inaugural challenge together and so glad to have been on this journey with you! Here's to the next 100! ((hugs))
I loved the original challenge you did and I love the remake challenge even more! Butterflies are my thing and I think the Raspberry Ripple is a new fav for me. This card showcases the elegance of the butterfly with that amazing bow and the classy argyle embossing folder.
I love the raspberry and white together - so crisp and clean! And that is one wow bow! And I love that sweet Lexi Lou!
Ann, the snowman card made me say "Awww", then I saw your updated version and said "Oooh!" You are a master at using bling, my friend.
And Lexi is just too stinkin' cute!

Ann I LOVE this Clean and Classy card...The argyle EF looks fab with the butterfly pattern and those faceted buttons are one of my favs, but I LOVE how you added the matching pearls. The crowning jewel is that gorgeous bow! Wow. How classy is that! Just love it.
PS: How special to celebrate 100 challenges! So many gorgeous items for one lucky winner. Hugs.

Congratulations on the 100th challenge.
Lovely! I love the clean and simple design of these cards, especially your re-made version!
How are Brody and Muffy adjusting to their little sister?
I like your first card and your second card, how can you ever choose - they're like children, you know.
Love this card. Also really like what you did with the bow! The picture of the dogs is wonderful! You are so lucky!
wow the argyle folder is really awesome, i got the fan folder and hope to get the argyle and chevron one too. the emb. background adds a lot to any paper/project. I was wondering what those clear round things were and now I know, I totally looked over them in the catalog. they add a little spruce to a project too.
of course give the pups a hug.
Ann, congratulations on the 100th challenge and WOW theses cards are both absolutely spectacular. I especially love how you added both ribbons on the second card.
I like different aspects of both cards, so hard to choose just one. I like the EF backgrounds on a card it adds so much. The new pup is so adorable.
That is a great sketch and I can understand how it is your favorite. Your original card is flirty & fun and your second card quite pretty. Love the ribbon/bow.
Another darling picture.
Beautiful card, and I'm envious of the beautiful bows that you tie! The kids sure do look comfy!!
I looked at the "Old" card first and thought, no way she can top that....when I scrolled down, I was so happy...love the "new" one even better....you do a fantastic job...and Lexi is as cute as pie!
As always, another gorgeous card. I love the snowman card too. Super cute. I too, would like to know how you did the two bow technique. I've tried before and it has never looked at neat as yours. Please share. Thanks.

Ann, congratulations on 100! You are really *versatile*! Your snowman card is bright, perky, and cute. And your butterfly card is simply elegant! I love the argyle embossing. I think it blends really well with the DSP used on the butterfly and the linear threads on the beautiful ribbon. You always do a superb job when adding bling!
Thanks for the pic of Lexi and Brody! Pups can be *so* playful. But isn't that part of their charm! LOL
beautiful, 1st. & 2nd. time round.....you're a winner!!
Both cards are Gorgeous. Love that bow and works so well with the card

Wow Ann do I love this card! I love the 3 pieces. It took me a while to figure out the bling and how you did it...then to go on to the next piece...I loved that. Such an intense and lovely card. The bow is amazing. It is now a tie for me between pearly ann and bowie ann! haha
And those pups, omgosh...are they precious! who is the protector of Lexi of the two?
Gorgeous card. That ripple is such a rich looking color and with the white it is outstanding. Love the unique look of the bow. Perhaps you should tell Lexi she will have the "chore" of drying dishes if she wants to play with the towel. Love the picture of Lexi with Brody. Hope he is doing well.
Gorgeous!!! I did not get that particular EF but I am loving it here! Your double-layered ribbon is quite pretty along with your faceted button embellishment! And of course, Lexi steals the show!

A very cool card for June! The butterfly could easily be changed out for a holiday card. I especially like the "double" bow. And Lexi's picture , of course.

What a great way of displaying the 100th challenge - the old being very cute and the new just clean and classy! Wow, great cards for both. I had to read about the bling - I totally missed the faceted buttons in the catalog. The colored pearl is perfect! I love the polka dot embossing on the butterfly background too. That bow is just the topper!
Cute photo of the two all worn out from playing.

Well, Ann, I didn't think I liked that Argyle EF, but you sure changed my mind on that! What a beautiful card with all that embossed white space!
Beautiful card, Anne! I love the new Raspberry color you've used on this card, gives it an elegant appearance. This is a great sketch (your original card is so cute!) and the sweet butterfly stamp is delightful. I do like the embossing folder you used but I think the Fan ef would have been equally as lovely.
Gorgeous ribbon treatment. I am going to try this. D
What a gorgeous new card Ann and that snowman card was one of my favs that you have created!!! I love that argyle folder, you are right, it does go with the butterflies to so well! Happy 100 my dear friend! So happy we have connected! I was so honoured when you joined my little team!!!

Oh my goodness, Ann! I remember Challenge #16 well ...along with your cutie snowman card. You made me buy that paper! The first of your enabling...yes, I remember it well. That was the second challenge I ever played along with at the Paper Players, too! Your new card is clean, classy and full of your amazing style. I have a request though...can we have a mini class at Convention for that fabby double bow technique? Love that!
Give Lexi Schach a hug from me! She's so cute and looks like she is settling in pretty well.
