A Peek at The Players and Retired List Retrospective

Here is a quick peek at this week's The Paper Players inspiration card.  It is bright! It is cheerful! It is easy!  I hope you will join me Sunday for the reveal!

Retired List Retrospective

I am continuing to say good-byto a few of the sets which will be retiring this year.  Today, the focus is on Dasher.  With his elegant, yet hauntingly beautiful, deco styling, Dasher dashed his way to lead the herd of my favorite ala carte stamps. He is one with which I will never part, yet I will cease to feature on my blog.  I hope you enjoy a final look at a few of the Dasher cards I have created.

If you do not own Dasher, and you would love to add him to your stable of stamps before he retires, his item number is 116816.  At $8.95, how can you live without him? Until next time...

That IS a cheerful card! When I placed my order, I had Dasher on the maybe list, but he didn't make it to the final cut - already have hoards of Christmas stamps and had to choose ones I knew I would use often - had to go with practical instead of heart : (

I love Summer Smooches. I am sorry they aren't keeping the brads. Love them too.

I have Dasher and I will be keeping him at least for a while.

I am completely immobilized by the loss of Dasher! He has always been a favorite "go to" stamp and has been used every Christmas since he came out. While I desperately hope for a suitable replacement, Dasher will stay in my stash and be loving used for many years to come.

The a la carte stamps are such a good investment! You have shown us an excellent example of how versatile one stamp can be. I am looking forward to seeing the new selection for June!

Dasher is just the best little reindeer! Here's hoping for another inspired stamp like this one. Little Dasher will be staying at my house for a while longer I think.

Great cards, Ann. Dasher was a classic. I especially like him in three different colors.

What a shame Dasher says goodbye. He is pretty cool.

I know SU thrives on continually bringing out new stuff, and retiring some things, but it's one of those practices that has come to not sit well with me. I like to submit things for publication, and always have to overlook SU because the stuff is not 'current'. :( Bums me out! I love SU!

I am SO sad that Dasher is leaving! I do hope SU! puts out something truly awesome to replace him!

And...is that RHINESTONES I see? And NOT PEARLS???? Can't wait for the reveal!

I don't think my comment took. So, I will repeat it - yeah, I like to see my name in print!

Anyway, your peek looks fun! I am still keeping Dasher on my order I am going to place. I think you could always do a "remember when" with some of your old favorite stamps. Maybe bling them up with new stuff to compare. Besides, it isn't nice to ignore old friends!
