A Parasol for the Pals

It time to play with the Pals at Pals Paper Arts! The talented Margaret Moody has once again worked her magic in designing this fabulous sketch for us.  Of course, I just had to ink up another image from the Occasions Mini, this time opting for the Parasol from Rue Des Fleurs.  I paired it up with two patterns from the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper Collection, and added a snippet of Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon.  I hope you enjoy "A Parasol for the Pals"!

The Stampin' Schach Design Tips
This card measures 5-1/2" wide by 4-1/4" long.
  • Glitter anyone?  The edges of the Parasol from Rue Des Fleurs and the Boho Blossoms punched flowers were covered with Tombow Adhesive and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds for a shower of shine!
  • Pearls for pizzazz! Pearls are "pearl-fect" for flower centers and for trimming the edge of a parasol.  The Daffodil Delight blossom sports a new Large Pearl from the Occasions Mini.

  • Perfect Pleats! 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon in beautiful Baja Breeze looks fabulous atop a Riding Hood Red pattern from the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper Collection.  Both of these products will be available January 4th.

  • A die to die for! Who can resist the Labels Collection Framelits Dies! They pack even more of a visual punch when paired with a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, such as Perfect Polka Dots!
I hope you enjoyed today's card.  It is always fun using new products!  I LOVE the new pleated ribbon, and of course, the Framelits.  And I can't wait to share even more of the products from the Occasions Mini with you! So what do you think of the new products, so far?  Let me know in your comment today.  And remember, if you have any questions about the cards that I make or the techniques that I use, I am only an email away! Until next time...

We all figured one of your first cards would include the new bigger pearl. You didn't dissapoint us on that! How fun! When I saw that stamp, I also figured it would have to be on one of your first cards as well. Same for the paper! Now, for what else you will come up, not sure but I bet the tea cup stamp will come soon! I think I need to make a cup of tea myself and look through the mini and dream up something for the swap. Looking forward to more fun projects! Will one of the new larger pearls decorate some fur? Happy holidays.
