This week the lovely Lesley is hosting a Happy Birthday challenge at The Paper Players. I decided to feature one of my favorite Designer Series Paper on my card, by using two patterns from the Spice Cake collection. I hope you enjoy today's fun to make card!
The Stampin' Schach Design Tips
- Frame it! Stampin' Up!'s new Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is perfect for showcasing an image OR an oval of Designer Series Paper. I opted to focus on an oval of the Pool Party Country Pattern from the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper collection.
- Flag it! Give any sentiment flair by flagging the end. I used the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Family Reunion set.
- Fussy cut it! This beautiful flower is snipped from one of the patterns of Spice Cake.
- Finish with pearls! What could be more perfect than adding Basic Pearls to the Scallop Trim Border!
I hope you enjoyed today's card, and that you will join us in this week's challenge. Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think. Your comments are always important to me, and I do enjoy reading and responding to them. Of course, if you ever have questions about the cards that I create or the techniques that I use, I am only an email away! Until next time...
