Color Spritzer Tool Video Tutorial and Ribbon Winner

Ah! The Color Spritzer Tool! Many of you have asked for a video tutorial for using the Color Spritzer Tool. The video tutorial today is a "Getting Started" video! A troubleshooting video is in the making and will be posted next week! However, if you can't wait for the troubleshooting video, many problems stem from the distance of the tool above the paper, and very importantly, the positioning of the Stampin' Write Marker in the tool itself! Like many techniques, it takes practice, practice, practice! Enjoy!

Ribbon Winner

Congratulations to the winner of the Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon. The winner, as selected by using a random number generator is #16: Rita.

I don't remember seeing you use those bright colors before! I can't wait to see the entire card. I would love to know how many packs of pearls you go through in a week! LOL

Love the picture of the twins. I thought only cats and my grandma were that nosy! :)

Rita, just send me your address, and I will send your ribbons to you pronto! A big thank you to all of you who commented. Of course, your comments are very important to me. And remember, if you have questions about the cards that I create or the techniques that I use, I am only an email away! Until next time...

Ann I LOVE your tut....Not sure what my problem is as I've told you before, but I must have a marker that isn't too juicy because your's seems effortless, I have to squeeze so hard I keep popping off the bulb part ???
Maybe I'll give another color a try. Hugs.
Congrats to Rita she must be so happy to win!

Thanks for the tutorial, Ann; you give such clear easy to follow instructions. The spritzer is one of my favorite tools but now I know I probably have been sliding the pen in too far. Have a great week-end and good luck to Muffy and Brody. Do you go with them?

Thanks for posting this, Ann. I've had my spritzer for several months and hadn't used it yet. Now that I've seen how quick and easy it is, I'll be spritzing this weekend. :)

Hi Ann, Thank you for the great video. I have had my spritzer tool for awhile but have been intimidated to use it. You make it look so easy, that I think I will have to dig it out and give it a try. Kathy in AZ

Oh my! I won? For real? Yay!!!

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I actually pulled out my distressing tools this week and tried to do a card. I keep seeing all your beautiful cards and I figured why not try it? :) I'm totally not in your league, but it was fun to attempt it. I'll definitely try again and now I'll be armed with more knowledge about that darn color spritzer. :)

Thanks for the great tutorial Ann. Did anyone ever tell you you'd make a great teacher? Your videos and posts prove that I would have loved to be in your class (although science was never my strong suit). As for practice makes perfect, that is what I've been reminding myself every time I take out the spritzer. Tell the twins I'll be rooting for them this weekend.

Woohoo! A video tutorial for the spritzer. Thanks for doing this. I may try and put this on my blog for others to see - or just have them come take a look at your fabulous blog. GO TWINS!!!!!! Thanks for blessing my day. :)

O.k. the video makes it looks harmeless enough. I guess I will buy one and try it out. Our SU group meets tomorrow - I will see if anyone else has one. They certainly don't use it on the cards I see. I really love the look you create with this tool. Then, we will go from there! Ann, don't tell me it is in a box though! Just kidding. Let us know how the trip went and how the kids did!

First Congrats to Rita! Good for you girl! Second, Ann, thanks for the video, I agree with everyone, it's a great video and I think your tips on holding the tool, distance, and not having the pen in there too tightly are great tips that take the fear out of using it!

Thanks for the video, I will have to give it another try now after watching your video.

Hi Ann! Great Tutorial...I love the speed at which you did it for we visual peeps! I'm working on other things right now, but still looking at your cards daily...be not offended not getting comments please. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! I'm turning my attention to overseas mission work at this time, so my own blog is at a standstill as well. God speaks to me in tautologous ministry I find, so I will be back, but fear not, still painting on the run! Just back from Cuba and donating ALL MY CARDS (1000's) for a worker to start his own business to bring in more than the common professionals salary of $5.00 a month. Off to the Dominican in 3 weeks. And the beat goes on! God IS GREAT and DOES provide when are hearts are open. Thank God for our creativity in order to do this type of Ministry along with things like our blogs, a Ministry in their own right! xox Samara

What a fantastic tutorial, Ann!!! I just placed an order for a color spritzer last night and it's all because of you! I'm going to name it "Ann" in honor of you. ;)

Thanks, Ann. The Color Spritzing tool is MUCH easier than I thought it was! It sounds so complicated, but can be used so quickly. I might just have to have one of these!

Thanks for the tut. It is funny that I just said earlier today to a friend that I wanted to get the spritzer tool because you used it a lot on your cards and it gives it a nice vintage look. Thanks again!

Thanks for the awesome tutorial, Ann. I finally came back to watch it again and practice along with it today. I was holding that little tool all wrong. I was getting the results but it just took a LOT longer. Thanks so much, your videos are always so helpful. :)
